I am a Dutch (Flemish) native speaker and I have been living in Italy since 2001. I studied at the University of Ghent (Belgium) and after an Erasmus experience at the University of Florence, I decided to stay in Italy. After my studies I pursued a master's degree in conference interpreting and since 2008 I have been working as an interpreter, translator and freelance language teacher. From 2017 to 2023, I taught at the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting at the University of Milan. I also teach Dutch at the European School in Parma (Italy). When I'm not working, you can find me in a café with a good book and a hot coffee or a glass of Italian wine.
